This simple, old fashioned aluminium contraption with a sturdy base and ergonomic handle is used for manually juicing soft fruits at home. The juice obtained is fresh, unprocessed and with all the natural fibre and nutrients intact.
This juicer is typically used for fruits like oranges, lemons, plums, mangoes, watermelons and more. When used with particularly small or fiberous fruits, you may need to strain the juice with a mesh strainer before consumption if desired.
How to use the Juicer:
- Cut the desired fruit into a peice or peices small enough to fit between the strainer and the lid.
- Placing one hand on the base for stability, gently begin pressing the handle in a downward direction. The fruit will get compressed between the lid and the strainer, and the juice extracted will collect in the chamber below.
- Once the chamber below is nearly full, simply pour the juice out into a container using the spout. Remove and replace the fruit once completely juiced. Clear the strainer of seeds and fibres as required.
- Once you have completed the juicing process, open the lid and remove the strainer peice. You can wash this separately.
Care instructions: Wash all parts with a sponge in warm soapy water, making sure to remove any residual fibres from the strainer. Dry all parts completely before storing.
